Not sure if you are aware, if you ride in the dark in France you must wear a Hi-Vis vest.
The police are strict on this and will fine you.

Ah but the French are the ones who have mandated lawyer tabs on road bikes including those being ridden by pros. Bonker ideas aplenty from them. Ooh la la

If this is the case then pedestrians in London need to be registered too - fed up with all the "walkers" stepping out without looking and between parked cars etc etc etc......
