Stevenage CTC Audax was created by Chrisbpr
I am doing the Stevenage Audax on the 27/10/13 and was wondering if anyone else fancied it.

The ride doesn't start till 10am so the plan is to catch the train from st neots at 08:11 then ride to the start, there is a cafe there so anyone can stock up on...er...supplies if they wish.

If the weather is ok i might ride back after the event or get the train, will see how the day goes.

I'm assuming you're doing the 101km, not the 67?

I like the idea of this, nice 'easy' distance and nice alterantive to the Sunday race series...i mean club run.

I'm tempted just to have a go at an audax for a bit of fun

On further reflection, in the words of various capitalist vultures: 'I'm out'.

I am already in, done it 2 years ago.
If it is the same course it is nice one with a couple of hills throwing in.
The main feed stop was excellent and cheap due to being volunteered run.

Cheeky sod, as I gather it that's not the point of an audax ...
